Your Responsibilities
Manage & prioritize the backlog and day-to-day work for your cross-functional team to deliver business and customer value on a regular cadence
Ensure that the product backlog, sprint goals, and team deliverables are transparent and clear to all.
Work with internal teams to manage projects involving system-to-system integrations.
Engage with internal stakeholders to solicit their feedback to validate priorities and compromises.
Work with teams to build a common platform for the entire organization.
Assure the team is pursuing a common vision aligned with business requirements so the team has context.
Work closely with Software Architects, UX Designers, Developers and Quality Assurance to translate high-level requirements and break them down into stories
Participate in daily stand-up scrums, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives. Actively follow the progress of the sprint to confirm implementation meets the intent of acceptance criteria.
Monitor key benchmarks, analytics, and experiment results on a daily basis to ensure the health of the product
Essential Attributes
3 + years professional experience within the lifecycle of SaaS solutions (e.g. as a developer, product owner, QA or support specialist, or technical writer).
Professional experience in project coordination, within SaaS or elsewhere.
Team player and leader capable of bringing people together toward a common goal.
Familiarity with web services architecture (e.g. REST, SOAP)
Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational & time management skills, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset.
Proven ability to translate technical requirements to a level of detail that developers can work with.
Technical or college or university degree, e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent.
Preferred Attributes
Professional experience as a product owner or business analyst specifically.
Has a good understanding of microservices architecture, software security, NoSQL databases.
Strong knowledge of workforce management systems
Deep experience with Atlassian JIRA or other software project management tools.
Has a data-driven mindset.
