Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Crew Member to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, food handling, and restaurant operations, with a strong focus on sanitation and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashier duties efficiently, including processing transactions and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies during overnight shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Uphold food safety standards through proper hygiene practices and sanitation protocols
- Support team members in completing shift tasks promptly to ensure operational efficiency
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple responsibilities during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred; kitchen experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with cash handling procedures is desirable
- Flexibility to work overnight hours consistently and reliably
