We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Janitorial Staff to join our team!
Position: Janitorial Staff
Location: Winnipeg - Various Areas Available
Shift: Full Time / Part Time
Wage: Starting at $16.50 / hour
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Follow company rules and safety policy
- Consistently arrive at worksite on time and prepared
- Vacuum, sweep and wash floors/rugs
- Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling
- Replenish all paper products, hand soap dispensers, cleaning supplies etc…
- Clean and disinfect washroom, lunchroom and office areas
- Detailed cleaning of corners, walls, windows, fixtures etc…
- Keep janitorial storage areas clean and organized
- Handle any customer emergencies and complaints properly in a timely manner
- Provide upper management with information and recommendations concerning worksites
- Present yourself positively and professionally towards clients and employees
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Provide a clear criminal record check (within 6 months)
- Must wear company provided uniform & photo id on site at all time
- Strong organizational, communicational and leadership skills
- High level attention to detail & willingness to learn
- Previous experience in the commercial cleaning industry considered an asset
