Made-Rite is Canada’s largest manufacture of Beef Jerky. We currently have exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing Plant. This position offers the right Candidate a varied work day, with the opportunity to learn a variety of different process. The right candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to work with other members of the team.

Individuals considered for this position require their own transportation. There are currently no bus routes to the Gloucester Industrial Area of Langley, BC

Made-Rite is a refrigerated plant; you will be required to work in this environment for a portion of your work day.

The Shipper Receiver/Inventory Specialist will be responsible for receiving purchased goods, maintenance and control of raw and finished goods inventories. This position will ensure delivery of materials/product to the proper department and or appropriate stocking location. Additionally, Shipper Receiver/Inventory Specialist will be responsible for month end and year end stock counts. This position will back up the Buyer with requisitioning of raw materials to maintain min/max inventory levels.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Inspect, accept or reject all inbound deliveries
  • Record and check quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Label all products received prior to goods being put away in designated stock areas
  • Maintain a safe work environment and compliance with safety policies
  • Must have basic computer skill, including MS Office programs. Advance skills are an asset
  • Must be able to enter daily transactions into Gembase, Made-Rite’s software program
  • Must be able to communicate with outside customers and purchasing vendors in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English with other team members
  • Possess a Forklift Driver Certification or the ability to obtain one
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks demonstrating good time management
  • Recognize the importance of customer satisfaction through maintaining company quality standards
  • Must be willing and able to lift and or move boxes up to 50 lbs/20 kgs
  • Planning and scheduling experience would be an asset
  • Wear and use designated safety gear as required


Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required


A minimum of 1-2 years working with Inventory Management


Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
