Overview
Rare opportunity to join an industry leading fabrication facility. This is a long-term opening with steady work on a great team. Currently hiring for general labour. Option to remain in general labour with the possibility for advancement for the right candidate.
Duties
- Drive company vehicle for local pickups and drop offs
- Assist skilled tradesmen, as required
- Load, unload and move materials throughout the shop
- Basic shop setup and cleanup
- Must always follow safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail & good communication within the team
- Forklift certification & WHMIS are assets (training is available on the job)
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
Hours
- 8 hour shifts between 6am – 6pm, Monday – Friday
- Overtime available during busy periods
Benefits package provided after 6 months
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
