THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sales Manager and Branch Manager, the Fleet Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing commercial fleet accounts.
This is a field-based position focused on helping customers improve tire performance, reduce operating costs, and maximize equipment uptime.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and grow relationships with commercial fleet customers
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Conduct regular customer visits and equipment inspections
- Evaluate tire performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Track tire performance and cost-per-kilometre metrics
- Present recommendations, proposals, and performance reports
- Coordinate tire programs, retread opportunities, and service requirements
- Maintain accurate customer information, inventories, and sales records
- Follow up on quotations, service requests, and customer concerns
- Collaborate with service, operations, and management teams to ensure customer success, can include, pick-up, delivery, and inventory management when required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales, fleet, trucking, tire, construction, agriculture, or related industry experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with commercial vehicles, equipment, or fleets is preferred
- Ability to plan and manage daily schedules effectively
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Basic understanding of cost analysis and business math
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Ability to lift and handle commercial tires when required
- Willingness to travel throughout the region with occasional overnight travel
