We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary clinic setting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist with client inquiries, provide information on services, and handle billing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and medical histories
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with office software
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Be comfortable handling animals
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures or experience working in a laboratory setting would be beneficial.
