SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT required for leading Commercial and Retail Real Estate Developer to become an active part of their team.
Our Client is seeking an Accountant with a minimum of five years full cycle commercial and/or property accounting experience.
Responsibilities for this position will include the following:
Keeping all accounting records related to assigned property portfolios current and up to date.
Reconciliation and maintenance of balance and income statement accounts.
Preparation of detailed variance analysis revenue and expense reports.
Preparation of all monthly financial and management reporting as required.
Review and posting of all monthly rent rolls to include rental charge notices to tenants.
Review, monitor and reconcile Accounts Receivable as required.
Preparation of monthly property tax billings, reconciliation and remittance of GST and other legislated taxes.
Preparation of all CAM recovery charges.
Assisting with auditor requirements.
Preparation of acquisition or disposition statement of adjustments as may be required, all year end working papers.
Preferred Candidates will have five or more years of experience, exceptional time management and communication skills, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Yardi.
