Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate is a ticketed Heavy-Duty Technician. Exceptional understanding of mechanical and technical repairs. Must have experience with electrical & hydraulics, PTO's, pumps, cranes and compressors.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand and power tools. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling, maintaining, and repairing equipment while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as required for repairs or maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Conduct repairs based on diagnostics, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or parts as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are accounted for.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 yrs as ticketed heavy duty technician
- Strong verbal & written communications skills
- Possesses analytical skills to evaluate data, solve difficult problems with effective solutions
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi task and maintain a strong customer service focus and attention to detail, with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and positive attitude
What we offer
