About the Job:
Oliver is looking for a Test Item Writer, who writes questions and answers for different types of regulated exams. This may involve creating multiple-choice questions, selecting content based on the expected educational attainment of test takers, or conforming to standardized test requirements for any given subject.
What will You do?
- Developing original educational assessment items based on specific text passages and learning outcomes
- Designing quality test items written to required specifications and standards
- Revising written items based on received feedback
- Applying rules of grammar, composition, etc. to the development of items
- Reviewing and improving test item performance
- Producing test items according to a schedule and in a steady workflow
- Demonstrating a high level of productivity and accountability
- Contributing to the organization, maintenance and integrity of question banks
- Documenting in-house item-writing standards
- Fostering respectful relationships with colleagues
- Any other duties as assigned
What do you need to SUCCEED?
- Post-secondary diploma or degree or equivalent experience in the related field
- Excel at verbal communications, listening, feedback, delegation, fostering teamwork and multi-tasking.
- Strong attention to detail in data entry.
- Exceptional computer skills including MS Office & Google Apps (G-Suite).
- Experience with a LMS is desirable.
- Shows initiative, can adhere to company policies while demonstrating discretion
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong multi-tasker, ability to prioritize and execute tasks
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated
- 2 Years of experience in a similar role is a must
- High Degree of Morality and Integrity
