Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with experience in food handling and food service operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. As a Store Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of the store including inventory, scheduling, customer service, staff training, etc.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages using POS system
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies and perform basic food preparation tasks to support smooth operations
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
- Manage store inventory
- Create staff schedules keeping in mind both staff cost and customer service quality
- Hire and train new staff members
- Assign tasks to staff as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Previous experience in retail or food service management is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food safety practices is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and adherence to health regulations
