General Labourer – Site Cleanup (Temporary)
Mackenzie Personnel Inc. is hiring 2 general labourers for a short-term cleanup assignment at an industrial manufacturing facility in Orillia. This is an immediate-start opportunity with a possible extension. Reliable, hardworking candidates who can start Monday are encouraged to apply.
Assignment Details
- Start date: Monday, July 28 (immediate)
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay: $18.00/hour, weekly pay
What You'll Be Doing
- General cleanup of a designated production area and the surrounding grounds
- Clearing debris, scrap, and waste from around an active construction site
- Sweeping, tidying, and removing garbage to keep work areas safe and organized
- Staging and moving materials as directed
- Following all site safety and housekeeping procedures
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual — able to commit to the full shift
- Comfortable with physical labour: standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working on your feet for the full shift
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in summer weather conditions
- Safety-first mindset; follows instructions and works well as part of a team
- Prior general labour, warehouse, or site-cleanup experience is an asset (not required)
What to Wear / PPE
- Weather-appropriate clothing for both indoor and outdoor work — shorts are permitted per the site dress code
- CSA-approved safety boots (steel-toe) required
- Any additional PPE will be advised at check-in
