We are looking for experienced Excavator Operators to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on remote drill sites, and will be expected to adhere to safety regulations and standards. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in operating excavators, as well as a strong understanding of the equipment's capabilities and limitations. The ideal candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate 16-20 ton track excavator safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform daily routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment.
- Complete daily safety operations reporting.
- Work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- First Aid - Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (CSA Std. Z1210-17 - Intermediate) Must be valid in Alberta.
- H2S Alive - Energy Safety Canada
- CSO - Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada.
- Other Contractor Orientations, as required.
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation for travel to remote sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Read, write, and speak English
Experience:
- Minimum one-year operating a tracked excavator on a drilling site.
- Drilling rig experience will be considered an asset
- Loader experience will be considered an asset
Willing to provide additional training to suitable candidates
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $120,000.00-$144,000.00 per year
