Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office
Answer, forward and screen incoming calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials (e.g. pens, paper, sign in sheets etc.)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Administer visitor passes and ensure visitors entering the building are expected guests
Arrange couriers for outgoing mail as requested
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
Book meeting room as requested
Assist with setting up boardrooms for meetings and lunches as requested
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Oversee parking at Keele
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying transcribing and faxing
Coordinate with facilities and IT team as required
Order business cards as requested
Additional duties are required

Education & Experience
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Available to travel to company locations within the GTA
Must pass an RCMP security clearance
Physical Demands
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to lift up to and including 25lbs, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and reach with arms/hands. Walking, climbing stairs, standing, and moving items is occasionally required. The employee must wear the required PPE to complete their job functions. The company reserves the right to modify PPE requirements based on regulatory, compliance and operational needs.

Work Environment
When employees are required to perform duties within the Greenhouse or Manufacturing facilities, they may be exposed to unprocessed cannabis products/supplies. The Greenhouse and Manufacturing environment can be temperate, noisy and dusty at times. The employee will be provided with the appropriate (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment and they must adhere to legal requirements regarding PPE to manage their own personal safety under these conditions. In addition, to ensure compliance and minimize contamination within a controlled environment, the employees may be required to wear latex gloves a cleanroom suit.
