ALVA is an exploration of Canadiana cuisine through food, geography, and the traditions that have shaped how we gather around a table.
Our cuisine draws inspiration from the landscapes, ingredients, stories, and culinary traditions of Canada—from the prairies and forests of Alberta to the waters of our coasts. We look to familiar Canadian ingredients with fresh eyes, combining time-honoured techniques with modern creativity to create food that feels both rooted and unexpected.
But, ALVA is about more than what is on the plate.
We believe hospitality is an art form, and at its heart is an act of care. Before restaurants became places to simply eat, hospitality was about welcoming someone into your home, making them comfortable, sharing what you had, and taking genuine pride in looking after them. We want to bring that spirit back.

We currently have some very talented crew members on staff who can pass on a ton of knowledge, however we are in need of some more keen team members to round out our kitchen crew.
We are looking for people who are curious, passionate, and proud of their craft. People who want to explore what Canadian cuisine can be, while helping to redefine what Canadian hospitality feels like.
