Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Landscaping Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various landscaping, concrete, carpentry, and various other projects, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the smooth progress of work sites. This role offers opportunities to develop a wide range of skills in the industry, including tree removals, carpentry, concrete work, and equipment operation. The position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn and perform diverse tasks on-site.
Duties
- Support skilled trades such as arborists, carpenters, concrete finishers in their tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely under supervision
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring activities
- Help with tree & stump removals, including landscaping duties, such as but not limited to, laying sod, wood chipping, site cleanups, hand digging, planting/transplanting.
- Perform demolition or restoration tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscape construction, tree and stump removal, or concrete work is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction techniques including concrete forming, tree climbing, stump grinding, or carpentry is an asset.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards safety compliance
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adapt to various construction environments
- Relevant certifications or training are preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
