We are looking for a skilled Furniture Finisher / Spray Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in staining, color matching, and high-quality finishing for furniture and cabinetry.
Furniture Finisher / Spray Technician
Location: Saint-Laurent, QC H4P 1A1
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28–$40+ per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Overtime: Optional (up to 55 hours/week during busy periods)
Responsibilities
- Mix and match stain formulas, solid colors, and custom finishes
- Prepare and apply post-catalyzed polyurethane coatings
- Spray finish furniture and cabinetry to high-quality standards
- Perform sanding, staining, and surface preparation as needed
- Maintain consistent finish quality throughout production
- Work with and support an assistant finisher when required
- Follow shop drawings and production specifications
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture finishing, cabinetry, or similar field
- Strong ability in color matching and stain development
- Experience with solvent-based, alcohol-based, and polyurethane finishes
- Good attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- High-end finishing experience is an asset
