Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling for diverse client needs
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling tools to clients
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere and addressing client concerns effectively
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and managing client records
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or relevant certification from an accredited cosmetology program
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of current hair styling trends, techniques, and products
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within the salon environment
- Ability to perform retail sales through effective communication and product knowledge
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact professionally with clients
- Ability to manage front desk duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: $15.00-$45.49 per hour
