Apprentice Metal Fabricator / Welder (1st or 2nd Year):
We are currently seeking a motivated 1st or 2nd year Apprentice Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our team. This role includes both shop fabrication and on-site installation work across a variety of projects, including structural steel, pressure pipe, ornamental metal work, stainless and aluminum fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with shop fabrication of metal projects and assemblies
· Support on-site installation and field work as required
· Read and work from drawings, measurements, and fabrication instructions
· Maintain a safe and organized work environment in both shop and field settings
Qualifications & Assets:
· Registered 1st or 2nd year apprentice in Metal Fabrication / Welding, or relevant hands-on experience in the trade
· CWB all position welding ticket for SMAW is an asset
· Working at Heights certificate is an asset
· Willingness to work both in the shop and on-site
· Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and contribute as part of a team
· Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop in Grand Valley each day
Travel & Job Site Details:
Employees are expected to have their own transportation to the shop in Grand Valley each day. From the shop, company transportation is provided to job sites using company welding rigs. Paid travel time is provided from the shop, and when overnight stays are required, per diem is provided as well as hotel and meal costs are covered.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
