Business Analyst
Location: Based in Exeter, with occasional travel to other
branch locations.
Employment Type - Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week
Salary: $50,000-$65,000

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team at Jayden's Mechanical. In this role, you will analyze
business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making across the
organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to improve
processes, drive efficiency, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of financial models, forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to assist
leadership with strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Analyze operational, financial, and workforce data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and
key business insights across departments.
- Collaborate with management to define business challenges, gather requirements, and develop data-driven
recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability, and organizational performance.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and other business communications to support management
meetings and executive decision-making.
- Assist in the evaluation and improvement of business processes, workflows, and performance metrics across
the organization.
- Support cross-functional projects by collecting and analyzing data, tracking progress, and helping to
implement strategic initiatives.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders, department leaders, and external partners to gather
information, present findings, and support project objectives.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and best
practices relevant to the mechanical contracting and construction industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field;
equivalent experience considered an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, finance, operations, or a related role, would be an asset.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with financial, operational, and performance reporting.
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and business performance metrics.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with FSM (field service management software)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
