About Mini Mavericks:
Mini Mavericks is the first multi-sport facility for kids in the nation. We are dedicated to introducing children aged 1–8 to the fun, fundamentals, and skills of multiple sports, including basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, and more. Our mission is to provide a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment where young athletes develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of movement.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and patient individuals to assist our coaching team. You will assist, and inspire children during our various sports programs and camps, helping them learn basic skills, develop physical literacy, and have fun in a supportive environment. Both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches are essential to ensuring safe and engaging classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for children at all times.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and encourage skill development.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in every child.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of equipment and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding class activities and progress.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches to ensure smooth program delivery.
Qualifications:
- High-level experience of one or more sports is an asset.
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic with a passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
