Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will monitor activities, enforce security protocols, and respond promptly to incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access.
Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Conduct security checks on personnel, visitors, and deliveries entering or leaving the premises
- Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and answering inquiries professionally
Skills
- Prior experience or training in law enforcement is advantageous
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergencies or conflicts
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly when needed
