Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and sanitizing high-touch areas regularly
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly to uphold cleanliness standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance issues
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience, especially in commercial or large-scale environments, is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including use of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or supply needs promptly
