Big White Ski Resort's Street Team Member is responsible for representing the resort at events throughout the Central Okanagan, and wearing The Loose Moose mascot at various promotional initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities:
Execution and teardown of events handled by the Sales and Marketing team including daily, weekly and seasonal events
Enhancing existing events
Mascot appearances as required during events, day-to-day resort operations
Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless delivery of events
Help set up and maintain events when required
Create new and engaging events
Assist other departments as required
Communicate effectively with all departments regarding guest experience
Work cooperatively as a member of the Sales and Marketing team
Comply with all department and company policies, and procedures
Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times

Supervise on-site activations
Perform other tasks, as assigned by management
Position requirements/skills:
Proven self-motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
Must be comfortable with the public
Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
Be able to execute the same event multiple times with passion and enthusiasm
Work well within a diverse team environment
Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability: including evenings, early mornings, weekends and statutory holidays
Physical demands:
Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of the shift
Ability to lift and carry
Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
