THIS POSITION MAINLY CONSISTS OF ...
Responsible for functional testing of the BMS module and for the verification of hardware/software to meet calibration performance and ensure that vehicle functional safety requirements are met
Responsible for supporting and managing test procedures for vehicle reaction validation and ensure that the vehicle response meets the design requirements
Understand the BMS hardware/software requirements and vehicle/system requirements
Develop Design Verification Method (DVM) based on BMS software requirements
Develop automated test cases, analyze test data to evaluate BMS performance and communicate issues to BMS developers
Plan testing activities to meet BMS release timeline
Support HIL development and toolchain integration
Support BMS software/hardware issue trouble shooting and root cause identification
Support battery cell/pack and vehicle testing
Coordinate and prioritize discussions with calibration & embedded software engineers to resolve DVPR and issues that arise from verification activities including HIL activities
YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS JOB IF:
You have the ability to work in a project start‑up environment and multidisciplinary team with objectives that are in the process of being defined.
You detain a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with embedded software development or testing;
You have experience in setting up/building HIL systems, developing test cases of Electronic, use generated code for software-in-the-loop (SIL) and processor-in-the-loop (PIL) testing
Experience in creating harness for test systems, with laboratory test equipment, with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to validate BMS embedded software
You possess an ability to conduct model, manage multiple tests, view results and generate reports.
You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance vehicles;
You can speak and write French and English languages;
You are comfortable in an environment where technical solutions are not known, where the path is not traced and with the use of predictive analysis methods.
