Bookkeeper / Payroll & GST Administrator
Location: Richmond, BC
Salary: $4,000–$5,000 per month (based on experience)
We are a growing automotive dealership seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Payroll & GST Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, payroll processing, GST filings, and maintaining accurate financial records for our dealership.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll processing and payroll remittances
- GST filing and CRA compliance
- Monthly financial reporting
- Inventory and vehicle purchase/sales record reconciliation
- Assist with year-end preparation and accountant requests
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience in Canada
- Experience with payroll processing and GST filing
- Strong knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an automotive dealership or vehicle-related business
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and vehicle sales transactions
- Accounting or bookkeeping certification is an asset
