1. ACCOUNTABLE FOR: LEADING
- People are our number one priority, and our crew is the key to success. Providing support, coaching, and feedback is a key role in leading the team. Use your experience to help support and develop your crew.
- Leading the shift; you are the key person there to make decisions in lieu of the TR Lead. Assess the factors that will impact foot-traffic and the revenue for the shift, and adapt based on these; this includes adjusting start times, making the decision to call in on-call crew, and when to cut crew to balance taking care of the guest experience, while operating the business with consideration of our labour targets.
- Guest experience; key leader and responsible for the hospitality of our guests. We trust you to support the crew in delivering a great guest experience striving to personally connect with various guests during their experience.
- Solving problems — recognize when there is a problem, then adapt and figure things out even when the solution is unclear or when in a new situation.
- Ownership and accountability — takes responsibility for their role and the results of their shift. Ensures tasks are completed to brand standards, and supports the people they are working with. Doesn't make excuses and owns the outcomes — good or bad.
- Training; there will be shifts where a new employee (still in training) is part of the crew on the SL's shift. New crew will be paired with an SL as the trainer since the SL's are exemplary employees to model after and teach Field House's best practice.
2. ACCOUNTABLE FOR: CASHOUT & CLOSING DUTIES
- Accurately counting cash and recording information on the cash out sheet — managing the day's finances.
- Responsible for applying discounts to bills, providing details in the application, and applying these within the guidelines of the Field House SOP.
- Making sure the tasting room is in immaculate shape and duties are done for your shifts before leaving or closing up.
- Setting the alarm, locking up doors and garbage bins, and dropping the keys in the lock box per your location's specific instructions.
3. ACCOUNTABLE FOR: SETTING A POSITIVE EXAMPLE TO THE TR CREW
- Setting the standard — work hard, notice all the details, knowing that the little things make all the difference. Keeping teammates accountable to these high standards and not letting things slip.
- Arriving to your shift on time and being ready to go.
- Staying updated with communications and TR operation updates.
- Following dress code, crew beer allowances, and general code of conduct — and reinforcing these rules with the crew.
- Take responsibility for your actions and help the team improve and succeed around you. Provide feedback and direction to the team, and hold them responsible for their actions in a supportive yet firm manner.
