The Centers are seeking Pickleball Instructors to deliver high-quality coaching, run engaging on-site activities, and act as a positive ambassador for the sport. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who ensures all participants feel welcome, valued, and motivated.
Company Overview
The Centers are Edmonton's Premier Pickleball Network. We are rapidly expanding and currently operate across 3 premier locations: Edmonton Pickleball Center (West), EVP Center (South), and The Center Sports Complex (North). The selected candidate's services may be required across any of our 3 facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Coaching: Coach a range of sessions, including rating sessions, clinics (small/large group, skill & drill, and introductory courses), party or school sessions, and private lessons.
- Community & Culture: Build positive relationships with clients, staff, and the broader pickleball community while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Administration & Tech: Use Court Reserve to post sessions in a timely manner and promptly respond to client emails.
- Program Growth: Help develop new programming and drive client retention by enhancing the overall player experience.
- Professionalism: Maintain high professional and safety standards across all sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sport coaching experience (e.g Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball) is preferred. High-level playing or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Certifications: Completion of the NCCP Pickleball coaching certification or a current International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) certification is a strong asset. First Aid/CPR/AED certification is optional.
- Availability & Physical Demands: Must be available for a flexible schedule (including daytimes and evenings). Ability to occasionally lift light-to-medium weight (20 lbs) objects.
