Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple locations(Vancouver and Port Coquitlam). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and the ability to manage teams effectively. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service, and a thorough understanding of restaurant management and food safety standards. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Monitor customer service levels to guarantee guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Support team development through coaching and leadership, fostering a positive work environment
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems.
- Demonstrated team management skills including interviewing, training, and performance evaluation
- Background in restaurant management or related roles in the food industry or hotel experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and compliance with health regulations
- Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not required

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
