Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in hospital, acute care, or home care settings, including assessments, treatments, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications accurately and safely following established protocols and medical orders
- Perform venipuncture and laboratory specimen collection (phlebotomy) with precision and professionalism
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information thoroughly and efficiently
- Assist with pain management strategies for patients experiencing acute or chronic discomfort
- Support case management activities by coordinating patient care plans and liaising with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, seniors, or individuals with dementia or other complex conditions
- Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and nursing procedures to ensure best practices in all aspects of patient care
Skills
- Proven experience working in hospital environments with acute care responsibilities
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner
- Strong background in pain management, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Experience in pediatric, senior, dementia, or assisted living care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures including phlebotomy
- Ability to handle medical office tasks efficiently while providing compassionate patient interactions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients alike

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
