Maintenance & Renovation Technician

Pro A Maintenance is a quality first maintenance and renovation company serving Central Alberta. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual with strong flooring, trim, and painting experience to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Install vinyl plank flooring and complete flooring repairs
- Install baseboards, door casings, trim, and stair nosing
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Drywall repairs, patching, mudding, and sanding
- Basic carpentry and renovation work
- Demolition and site preparation
- Appliance installation and minor repairs
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (where permitted)
- General property maintenance and repair work
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, and team members
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of renovation or maintenance experience
- Strong experience installing vinyl plank flooring
- Experience installing finish trim and baseboards
- Experience with painting and drywall repairs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must own a regular cab or long-box truck capable of transporting tools and materials
- Reliable transportation is mandatory
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Clean criminal record check (required upon hiring and every 2 years thereafter)
- Basic hand tools required
- First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
Compensation
- $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Approximately 10-40 hours per week to start
- Opportunity to move into a full-time position after a successful probationary period
- No company vehicle provided
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
