Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Help to assist with daily operations in our workshop. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves supporting the team with various tasks, ensuring the shop runs efficiently and safely. Prior mechanical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and repair of equipment or parts as directed by senior staff
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and materials
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of tools and equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or products as needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on shop equipment under supervision
Experience
- Prior experience with mechanical work, hand tools, or power tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts is beneficial
- Previous experience working in a workshop, garage, or similar environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
