InnEd Academy provides engaging academic enrichment programs for students from SK-12, with a strong focus on math confidence, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. Our goal is to make learning meaningful, structured, and enjoyable while helping students build strong mathematic academic foundations.
Through our partnership with Young Engineers, we also offer robotics and STEM-based learning programs that allow students to explore engineering, problem-solving, and creativity through hands-on building.
Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and patient instructors to teach math enrichment and/or robotics programs to children and youth. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, can explain concepts clearly, and is passionate about helping students grow in confidence.
Instructors may be responsible for small-group math lessons, robotics activities, classroom management, lesson delivery, student support, and creating a positive learning environment.
Math Instructor Responsibilities
- Teach Grade 1-10 math concepts to students in a small-group setting.
- Support students with curriculum-based math skills, problem-solving, and confidence-building.
- Adjust explanations based on each student’s level and learning style.
- Track student progress and communicate observations when needed.
- Take attendance at the beginning of each lesson.
- Record lesson notes and student progress updates at the end of each class.
- Prepare lesson plans based on student needs and program goals.
- Print worksheets and learning materials before each lesson.
- Clean and organize the classroom after each session.
Robotics Instructor Responsibilities
- Math Responsibilities +
- Deliver hands-on robotics and engineering lessons using Young Engineers materials and program structure.
- Guide students through building, testing, and improving robotics models.
- Help students understand basic STEM, engineering, and mechanical concepts.
Qualifications
- Strong English Speaking Skills Required
- Completed Grade 10 Academic Math with 80%+
- University Students Preferred
- Experience working with children or youth is strongly preferred.
- Interest or experience in STEM, robotics, coding, engineering, or hands-on learning for robotics positions is preferred.

Schedule
Classes may take place during after-school hours, evenings, weekends, or seasonal programs depending on enrollment and program needs.
Typical availability may include:
For our Enrichment Programs -
- Weekdays between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Sundays 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
For our Summer/Camp Programs -
- Weekdays between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Half-Day Options Available)
- Summer School, Summer Camp, March Break, or PA Day camp programs
