The Opportunity
Nido de Montessori is seeking a full-time Receptionist and Administrative Coordinator who will work alongside the students and educators and ensure the daily operations of the school. The Role
As the Receptionist and Administrative Coordinator, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Nido’s school culture, and what sets us apart from other early learning centers.
- Foster warm and trusting relationships with families and community members.
- Manage student and staff onboarding processes such as creating and sending letters and organize uniform fittings.
- Host virtual and in-person tours with interested families
- Support and communicate with educators, principal, and team in maintaining and updating school processes and procedures.
- Provide administration duties in the office by establishing and maintaining employee, student, and business files and records, processing invoices, and receiving incoming mail and phone calls.
- Manage and calculate expenses, budgets, and tuition, including managing benefits.
- Set up and maintain office systems including ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory.
- Manage relationships with external contractors
- Coordinate, support, and organize staff and community events
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities where necessary.
The Qualifications
As the Receptionist and Administrative Coordinator, you have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Possesses good time management skills and has the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to work independently.
- A passion for people and strong ability to build authentic and trusting relationships with all community members.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and is results oriented.
- Embodies a growth mindset, recognizing opportunities for learning and growth daily.
- Experience working with children and in an administrative role are an asset.
