About the Role
As Store Manager, you are responsible for both the experience in the store and the performance of the business. You set the tone—for how the space feels, how the team shows up, and how customers are cared for.
This role blends: Atmosphere and experience, Leadership and team development & Operational execution and results.
You’ll be leading a team to create a store that feels warm and welcoming—while also driving consistent performance, strong sales, and disciplined operations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Store Experience & Customer Connection
- Create and maintain a welcoming, well-kept store environment that reflects the brand
- Ensure every customer interaction feels proactive, genuine, helpful, and natural
- Coach the team to focus on connection and trust—not just transactions
- Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure the team can confidently and simply tell the brand and product story
2. Sales & Performance
- Deliver on sales goals, conversion, and average transaction value (ATV)
- Build a culture of trust and accountability—clear expectations without pressure tactics
- Identify opportunities to improve results through coaching the team and identifying opportunities through analytics and team discussions.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team aligned with the tone and values of the brand
- Provide regular, practical coaching on customer experience and selling ceremony skills
- Create a team environment that is respectful, supportive, and steady.
- Recognize and reinforce strong behaviors—not just outcomes
4. Scheduling & People Management
- Build schedules that support both customer experience and business needs
- Manage labour against budget while maintaining a calm and supported floor environment
- Adapt schedules based on trends, seasonality, and store/ employee performance
5. Operations & Store Standards
- Maintain high standards for store presentation, cleanliness, organization, and merchandising.
- Oversee inventory, receiving, and stock accuracy
- Ensure all operational processes are followed consistently
- Take ownership of opening/closing routines and daily store flow

Experience & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of previous retail leadership experience (Store Manager or Assistant Manager level)
- Proven ability to deliver on sales and KPI targets
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing teams
- Strong organizational and operational skills
- Clear, direct communicator
- Comfortable balancing customer experience with business performance
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including troubleshooting POS systems
