Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel is seeking friendly and high energy candidates for bell/ valet position for the busy season coming up! Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply. Flexible schedule and great place to work for students for part time.
Wage increase to $21.00 after 3 month probation.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must possess a valid class 5 BC driver’s license or ability to gain a BC driver’s license immediately. Preferably able to drive manual transmission but not required. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
- Flexible availability (combination of morning, evening and weekend). Schedule is negotiable but candidates should be expecting to work mostly evenings and weekends
- Work well with others as well as independently in a multi-cultural setting
- Have a professional attitude and a sense of responsibility
- Enjoy customer service
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Park and retrieve vehicles
- Assist with luggage
- Handle general questions and requests including concierge tasks
- Greet warmly at the entrance to welcome guests
