The City of Revelstoke is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused individual to join the RCMP detachment as a casual Police Services Clerk. This role provides front-line administrative and operational support, including front counter and telephone services, assisting the public, and supporting police operations.
In this role, you will respond to public inquiries and complaints, process Police Information Checks and fingerprinting services, maintain records and data systems, and provide general administrative support. You will also handle payments, support communications with officers, and ensure the accurate and confidential handling of sensitive information.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with a commitment to confidentiality and delivering excellent public service. Prior experience in a police or public safety environment is considered an asset. This position requires obtaining and maintaining RCMP Reliability Security Clearance and is open only to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have lived in Canada for a minimum of five years.

Rate of pay $31.86
