Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, efficient time management, and excellent communication skills to ensure a memorable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service operations.
- Ensure responsible serving by adhering to alcohol regulations and recognizing signs of intoxication.
- Assist in food service when required, including serving food items and managing food handling procedures.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and proper sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to manage busy periods effectively.
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable to ensure seamless guest interactions.
