We are looking for a Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our Esso team. We are looking for a customer focused employee who is honest, friendly and reliable to work afternoon and weekend shifts.
Candidate should be very alert, punctual, good with basic math, able to multitask, can work in a fast-paced environment, and can provide foremost customer service.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience working in a gas station is REQUIRED (minimum 1 year)
- Experience in customer service (minimum 1 year)

- Operating POS system • Handling cash • Verifying customers’ I.D. cards for selling lotto and tobacco
- Answering phone calls • Checking deliveries, pricing merchandise & restocking the store as per the needs
- Conduct opening and closing shift functions
- Keep a lookout for cars in the gas pump area
- Helping answer customer questions
- Cleaning, mopping floors and garbage removal
- Other duties as necessary
Responsibilities:
- Count the amount of money in a till and correctly record the amount of money.
- Be familiar with a till system or register system.
- Accurately record customers' purchases.
- Remain polite to customers despite difficult situations.
- Communicate with other employees to get help when necessary.
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
