We are seeking a skilled Crew Lead in Suite Rough-in & Finishing to oversee on-site electrical installations across multi-unit residential suite projects. In this role, you will manage electrical crews from initial layout through rough-in, device trim-out, fixture installation, testing, and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor electrical apprentices through all phases of multi-unit suite electrical rough-in and finishing.
- Lay out and install branch circuit wiring, junction boxes, conduit, panels, subpanels, and low-voltage rough-ins according to electrical schematics and architectural blueprints.
- Direct finish electrical work, including the installation of lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, appliances, and smart-home devices.
- Ensure all installations comply strictly with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and municipal safety standards.
- Coordinate daily site schedules with the general superintendent and other trades (framing, plumbing, HVAC, drywall) to avoid layout clashes and maintain production flow.
- Perform circuit testing, continuity checks, and deficiency punch-list audits prior to rough-in and final electrical inspections.
- Enforce site safety standards, maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance, and lead daily toolbox meetings.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyperson Electrician (Red Seal or Provincial Journeyperson certification).
- 4+ years of residential or commercial electrical construction experience, with specific experience running suite rough-in and finishing scopes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience as a lead hand, sub-foreman, or crew lead.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting architectural layouts, single-line diagrams, and lighting schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and own complete set of hand and power tools.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
