Student will work within our Club setting, which is a psychosocial rehabilitation program based in the recovery model we subscribe to at our branch. Members of the Club have significant and persistent mental illness. Student will work on building trusting relationships with and engage Members of the Club and community. Student will encourage and motivate individuals to take part in daily programming, recreation and fundraising. Organizing and delivery of recreational and social activities is primary responsibility - both to take the lead in and to support other Club staff members in hosting these. It will also be the responsibility of the student to become aware of local festivals and celebrations so we can facilitate member involvement and engagement in our community.
