We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our busy northwest pediatric clinic on a part-time or casual basis. We will also consider applications from Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a certification in or willing to obtain a certification in spirometry. This role may have the opportunity to evolve into full-time work in the future.
Candidates must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This role focuses on performing pulmonary function testing (spirometry) in children within a supportive, collaborative team environment. A desire to work with children and families to provide support and care is required.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (we will also consider applications from Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse)
- Has a certification or willing to obtain certification in spirometry (we can provide training but you will need to complete an official accredited spirometry course)
- Is able to work during daytime hours (8am to 4pm)
- Has experience working with children and adolescents
- Has a working knowledge of medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy and asthma
- Has strong clinical skills with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Possesses excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Experience doing full pulmonary function testing is considered an asset
