Ophthalmic Technician required for a busy Ophthalmology clinic in Hamilton (Experience Preferred with knowledge in Optometry or Ophthalmology background) but willing to train
. Monday to Friday 8 am-3 pm, increased hours when needed (possible Saturdays if needed)
. Duties to include: patient/clinical involvement
. directing patients to exam rooms
.visual acuity check, IOP check, operating various ophthalmic equipment such as .OCT, visual field, Optos, biometry testing, Itrace and administering eye drops
. Experience with EMR (specifically ACCURO) an asset
.Administrative assistance in areas of the clinic
. Able to work in a fast paced environment
. Willing to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail and be a team player
