About the Role
We're looking for a charismatic, tech-obsessed Video Host to be a face of Authority Media YouTube channels. You'll work in Vancouver in our office, at your home, or at various shooting locations alongside a full production team — writers, camera operators, and video editors — so you can focus on what you do best: bringing tech stories to life on camera. There may be some travel required for trade shows, product launch events, and other media events around the world.
What You'll Do
- Host videos on YouTube, and other social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
- Present scripted and semi-scripted content with energy, clarity, and authenticity
- Collaborate with our writers, camera operators, and editors in our downtown Vancouver studio
- Provide hands-on impressions and commentary on a variety of tech products
What We're Looking For
- Previous on-camera experience — YouTube, broadcast, streaming, social content, or similar
- A genuine passion for technology — you follow the industry, you have opinions, and you love talking about it
- Strong communication skills and a natural, engaging on-camera presence
- Located in Vancouver, BC, or willing to relocate
- Preferred (but not required): A home space suitable for shooting smart home products — think smart lights, robot vacuums, pool cleaners, and similar gear
What We Offer
- Per-video rate (preferred) or $20–50/hour
