Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Demonstrators / Sampling Persons to represent our products at Reddeer Farmers market on Saturdays. This role involves engaging with customers, providing product samples, and promoting brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers. Celiac or Gluten Free knowledge is a plus. This is a paid position suitable for students / individuals interested in marketing, sales, or customer service.
Duties
- Set up sampling stations with product displays and promotional materials
- Offer product samples to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers about product features, benefits, and usage
- Gather customer feedback and answer questions regarding the products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sampling area throughout shifts
- Engage with shoppers to increase product awareness and drive sales
- Follow all safety and health guidelines during sampling activities
- Report daily activities and customer interactions to the supervisor
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, marketing, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and public speaking skills to effectively engage with customers
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and clearly explain features
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during shifts
- Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
Pay: $20.00 per hour
