Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Changer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently replacing and repairing tires, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work and excellent service. Duties
- Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth
- Perform wheel balancing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance on tire-changing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire-changing equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires safely (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
