CUPEC01 $21.401 - $24.708 per hour
Hours of Work/Shifts:
Monday-Friday (1500-2300) including weekends

Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent in support services role preferred
Ability to communicate with customers, patients and co-workers
Ability to read and write, follow instructions, and use basic math skills
Work on a daily basis as part of a team
Must complete the required training program
May include shift work
A positive work and attendance record is essential
The ability to be self motiveated and complete project tasks without need of assisance
Collect garbage, various recyclables and biomedical waste
Checks outside grounds of waste area and disposes of garbage
Snow removal as needed
Heavy lifting required, able to complete all tasks
As assigned, transport supplies and equipment throughout the hospital
Room set ups and moves
Biomedical waste cleanup and packaging according to specified guidelines
Maintain open and timely communication with team members and management staff
Use mobile pager/phone as required to perform job duties
Must have the physical strength to meet requirements of job
