About the Role
The ideal candidate is someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, multitask confidently, and provide excellent customer service—both in person and over the phone. You must be comfortable working under pressure during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Experience with Fillware Pharmacy Software is a strong asset and preferred.
Since our patient base is primarily South Asian, language abilities in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or Gujarati would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription Processing: Filing, billing, third-party adjudication, and data entry (Fillware familiarity preferred)
- Dispensing Support: Counting medications, preparing and labelling, blister packaging
- Customer Service: Greeting patients, answering phone calls, managing in-person queue, assisting with OTC inquiries
- Professional Communication: Interacting with physicians, clinics, and other healthcare professionals by phone, fax, and in person
- Organization & Cleanliness: Maintaining a tidy, well-organized dispensary and workflow area
- Documentation: Accurate and timely record-keeping
- General Support: Assisting pharmacists with daily operations and special tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong multitasking ability (e.g., assisting walk-in patients while managing phone calls)
- Ability to work well under pressure without compromising accuracy
- Focused, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Experience with Fillware is an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Language skills in Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/Gujarati are an advantage
- A passion for pharmacy and a desire to grow with our team long-term (minimum a few years preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt
