Witteveen Fleet Maintenance Ltd requires an Administrator Assistant to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with prior experience in Accounts payable and/or Accounts Receivable, who is not afraid to learn new things and take on new challenges.
This person will work closely with the Controller and the Customer Service Manager. The position will assist with the following:
Accounting & Administration:
- Accounts Payable; posting vendor invoices, preparing vendor payments, and filing vendor documents.
- Accounts Receivable; posting customer payments, review of aged receivables, and following up on past due accounts.
- assist with other general accounting tasks as required.
Customer Service:
- Customer Reception desk responsibilities require a pleasant and helpful attitude towards customers and staff.
- Greeting customers, answering phones, taking messages, and appropriately redirecting as required.
- Updating and generating customer service sheets.
- Assisting with other service related tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will require the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- competent using various computer and phone systems,
- basic working knowledge, of Excel.
- strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
- strong customer service / retail skills.
- ability to stay on task in a busy working environment.
