Overview
Wilson Mountain Sports is Lake Louise’s go-to local outdoor shop, serving visitors and locals with gear, advice, and stoke. We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. The more you play, the better you will do—so we built our schedule around getting you outside.

Responsibilities
- Enjoy and thrive while engaging with customers—make every interaction feel like helping a friend.
- Ask open-ended questions, get inspired by their answers, and show them how our products and services will enhance their time in the mountains.
- Be enthusiastic taking phone calls (booking rentals, answering trail/conditions questions, etc.).
- Work well with the team—bring a good sense of humour, even on busy days.
- Keep the store floor, rental gear, and displays guest-ready.
- Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using our POS system.
- Share local knowledge: trailhead tips, weather updates, avalanche awareness (training provided).
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service and sales (retail or outdoor industry preferred).
- Strong communication skills—in person and on the phone.
- Genuine passion for the outdoors (hiking, skiing, climbing, camping, or running).
- Phone etiquette: talk with a smile (yes, people can hear it).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while having fun.
- Comfortable standing for full shift and occasionally lifting/moving gear (skis, bikes, boxes up to ~40 lbs).
Bonus Points (not required)
- Previous retail or rental experience at a mountain resort.
- Knowledge of ski/bike tuning or rental fitting.
- First aid or avalanche skills training.
- Speaks a second language (Mandarin, German, or French—common visitor languages in Lake Louise).
